We're all weird and life's a little weird, and when we find someone whose weirdness is compatible with ours, we join up with them in mutual weirdness and call it love.
Seeking compatible weirdness.
Alright fellow Tumblr geeks. I’m in need of some help. DD and I are going to do a ‘chemistry color run’ and are supposed to dress up as mad scientists. Any suggestions beyond lab coats and goggles? (I probably should also mention here that she looks exactly like me just 12 inches shorter and slightly lighter hair. There’s gotta be some way to use that to our advantage.)
Also, as a bonus we’re doing a mad scientist birthday party in a few weeks. I have recipes for bouncy balls and slime and we’re going to do the mentos/diet coke trick. Any other suggestions would be appreciated for that too. I figure if you’ve got geeky friends then you need to use them.

No, but hellooooo mistletoe in his underoos! Sounds lovely ;). Although I did actually tie a bow around “little Charles” in one story. Apparently he likes a little garnishment down there ;)

Raise your hand if Mrs. Hughes has a secret love child somewhere
Sorry, but no. Ethel specifically asked her in season 2 if she’d ever done anything silly, and she replied not on this scale. (I’m paraphrasing!) I think a secret love child is on that scale.
Yes. In total agreement. Elsie Hughes has no secret love child. Per exactly what you referenced.
She’s sympathetic just out of compassion, not from similar experience.
Based on that statement above, it would be very much out of character for her to have a secret love child. However, Fellowes et al seem perfectly content to throw characterization out the window (or French windows) if it suits them.
